Digital Smart Solutions Limited (DSSL) is a start up Education Technology (EdTech) company that operates in the Continuous Professional & Personal Development (CPPD) and Higher Education (HE) sector of a Global E–Learning Market that is poised to grow at a CAGR of around 15.4% over the next decade to reach approximately $500 billion in a global market of $10Tn by 2030.
As a Knowledge Intensive Company (KIC), our 5-year goal is to develop a highly innovative enterprise with a global commercial ambition, a great potential for growth and having the competency to deliver a disruptive, immersive learning technology to revolutionise a 21st Century curricula. We have designed the Hyperconnected Student Learning Environment (HSLE) with a complementary bespoke digital-array content capability to be delivered through a bubble-driven HCI immersive platform to generate over £100M in revenue per year.
Deploying our patentable, foundation technology, the “Bubble” human-computer interface we will take our TRL-5 prototype (Technology Readiness Level - as pioneered by NASA) to TRL-9 within 18 months. This technolgical advanced platform will personalise learning at scale; generating well over 100,000 irrefutable micro-accrediting accounts. Our current market expectation is that these accounts will generate a miminium income of £250 pa each, generating over £44m pa in tuition fees alone by 2024.
We are already capitalised with £150,000 early funding (Family & Friends) and we are looking to seed finance our product development as a KIC. This offers an effective R&D tax relief prior to deployment of digital content.
As a start up KIC we have obtained HMRC Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) compliance, and we continue to apply for Innovate UK and EIC (European Innovation Council) H2020 grants.
We are asking seed capital investors to purchase up to 10,000 ordinary shares at a premium price of £200.00 each to raise £2,000,000 in this pre-revenue call.
In a $5Tn Global Education Market, set to double to $10Tn by 2030, we have identified a niche $500 Bn market that our smart HSLE solution will soon turn over $100m per year. Given this potential of an excellent ROI; Investors, Business Angels and VCs may find it rewarding to be involved our platform service as it develops and we disrupt the market.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) believe that Investors looking to invest in EIS / KIC offers should take care. Given the typical risks involved, under their regulations, firms are only allowed to promote illiquid securities to particular types of experienced or sophisticated investors, or ordinary investors who confirm that they will not invest more than 10% of their net investable assets in investments sold via investment-based crowdfunding platforms.
You should only invest money you can afford to lose.
